Improv Comedy

Sunday Nights at 8:30 June 25-Oct 1

[508] 228-4305

You've seen it on TV. You've seen it in New York. These guys are quick, funny and imaginative. Don't miss the chance to test these Nantucket improvers with your character and situation input. You'll be rolling in your seats as you watch them pull it off, time after time. A real treat.

The Comedy Improv has been performing seasonally on the Nantucket stage for eight seasons now and this summer the groups excitement levels are through the roof.  The best way to sum up the show format is if you've ever seen or heard of Drew Carey's "Who's Line is it Anyway", well that's what we do.  Everything is made up on the spot with the help of audience suggestions and inputs and for some games, participation.  We promise not to force you onto stage which is the fright of some that attend the show, but would encourage your inputs otherwise we have nothing to go on.  The show is truly hilarious and enlightening and should prove to be tremendously entertaining.

New for this year we will be intertwining Improv games with some sketch comedy scenes that we have been writing over the winter.  This is something we are looking forward to as a challenge to us and another venue to deliver you the humor you deserve.  If you have seen the show before, we have new games, sketch scenes, and more energy.  Maybe a stab at a few minutes of stand-up.  Well see!  If you haven't been, you don't want to miss it!  It's the funniest and best way to spend a Sunday night.  So come and enjoy the show and thank you for supporting Theater Workshop of Nantucket.

Tickets $15
