Officers

President - Frank Morral
Frank has been coming to Nantucket since l961 when he met and married Linda Backus. In 2006 Frank retired from 42 years of teaching English Literature at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and he and Linda are now fully washed ashore on Nantucket. In the last two years he has played in several TWN and NTP productions and directed for NTP as well as many, many productions for Carleton College.

Vice President - Greg Bourbeau
Greg joined the TWN board in 2005. He is President of Yorkshire Paper Corporation, a paper recycling brokerage firm. He is the past President and senior board member of the Eastern Paper Mills Suppliers Association. He moved to Nantucket full time in 2003 from Wilbraham Massachusetts. Greg's interest in theater is long-standing but he only started acting in 2004. He has performed in many plays with Nantucket Theatrical Productions and looks forward to helping TWN grow and continue to bring the Island outstanding theater for many years to come.

Secretary - Mark White
Mark has been on Nantucket for over 30 years. He was a middle and high school teacher in the Nantucket public schools for 31 years until his retirement in 2005. For the last ten of those years he was the Director of Nantucket High School Drama Club. He joined the TWN board in 2005. He holds a degree in English from Bridgewater State and a Masters of Contemporary Theatre Practice from the University of Lancaster, England.

Treasurer - Adam Berman
Adam has served on the Board since 1999 and as Treasurer since 2000. A summer resident since 1981, Adam lives in Watertown, MA where he runs a bookkeeping service. Adam graduated with an accounting degree from Babson College and has been a theatergoer since seeing Charley's Aunt at TWN.

Directors

Ciaran Byrne
Ciaran was asked to join the TWN Board of Directors in 2006 because of his unquenchable enthusiasm for live theatre and particularly the success of theatre on Nantucket. He has featured in several TWN productions and is currently a student of acting with HB Studio in New York.

Meryl L. Bralower
Meryl L. Bralower has been visiting Nantucket since 1972 and currently spends summers in Sconset. Meryl has had multiple careers, most recently working with entrepreneurs and new ventures. She is currently helping set up venture forums to help bring entrepreneurs and investors together. She has a particular interest in non-profits and social entrepreneurism. She co-founded Social Venture Partners Boston, a group of professionals, business executives and entrepreneurs promoting engaged philanthropy by pooling financial resources and business expertise to non-profits. Prior to founding SVP she brought craigslist.org, a popular community website, to Boston. In conjunction with craigslist.org she organized the first non-profit venture forum in Boston. In addition she helped create "Investing in Media that Matters, A Gathering at Sundance Village," a conference focused on social mission media.

Cheryl Fudge
Cheryl is a local clothing designer and retailer. Her business acumen and dedication to Nantucket non-profits is well known and even before joining the TWN board in 2005 she provided costumes and advice for many TWN productions. She has also performed for both TWN and Nantucket Theatrical Productions. Since joining the board she has dedicated her efforts to fund raising and costuming.

Susan Lucier
A summer resident of Nantucket since 1988, Susan earned her degree in theater from Case Western Reserve University in her home town of Cleveland, Ohio, where she has performed in several productions—at the Cleveland Play House and other local theaters. She has also studied at Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting, Michael Chekhov Association, and Ward Studio in New York; and at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Mass. An original member of Nantucket’s Seaside Shakespeare Company, she also performed in TWN’s 2006 production of The Smell of the Kill. Susan served on the Advisory Board for the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival in 2002-2005. She joined the TWN board in 2007.

Gordon McGregor
Gordon graduated from SUNY Purchase with a degree in Theatre Technology. He went on to work at the La Jolla Playhouse during which he was involved in the theatrical debut of The Who's Tommy and the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business. Gordon worked in television for Fox, PBS, and spent five years on the hit television show Sex and the City. He came to Nantucket to help produce a show for Seaside Shakespeare Festival and stayed. Gordon is a certified Life and Business Coach and is the lead consultant for his firm Jump Start YOUR Life based here on Nantucket. He joined the TWN board in 2004.

Judith Seinfeld
Judith is President of Heritage Management Company, LLC, a real estate investment, development and management company based in Ridgewood, New Jersey. She serves on a number of boards and committees in Nantucket, New Jersey and Arizona. On Nantucket she was a Trustee on the Board of Nantucket Cottage Hospital. Currently, she serves as Trustee at the Nantucket Atheneum, the Nantucket AIDS Network, and the Nantucket Film Festival. She revived her college acting skills in TWN's 2004 production of "Born Yesterday." A new board member in 2004, her business acumen and contacts have been a welcome support to the work of TWN.

Jane Silva
Jane joined the board in 2003 having acted with the group back in the 1960's under the direction of Mac Dixon. She was part of the summer repertory theater at the old Straight Wharf Theatre. Jane is owner of the Galley Restaurant where she has hosted fund raising events for TWN, Hospice and the Nantucket Land Council.
